E & J Mining Memories
E & J Mining Memories

My collection started about fifteen years ago and I've been steadily collecting the odd model here and there ever since - as and when they are spotted or get released. They've come from a wide variety of places; shops, car boot fairs, model collectors fairs, presents, car shows and so on. The models ranged widely in both condition and price, some with and some without boxes and quite a few without wheels! Most models I've come across I've bought with two notable exceptions - one where the man in front of me at a car show picked up the model I'd spotted from afar - and he bought it, and, the second one was when I saw an excellent Italian made model with opening bonnet an engine - unfortunately I was a student at the time and the money I had that I could on spent of the model I desperately need to keep the actual car running.

Andrew Hardie's Site scores again with a good guide to models past and present
