Cortina's have appeared ina great number of films over the years, and, probably most of the British films made during the sixties and seventies had a Cortina in a street scene or a car park. Cop films with street chases were always a good one...

The Carry On Cabby film from the British Carry On series released in 1963 is a must for all fans of both Mk1 Cortinas and those who love the British humour of the sixties. Carry On films are now celebrating 40 years of humour (1998) and are now regarded as somewhat of a cult. Carry On Cabby is great for Cortina fans as it shows Cortinas as very much the hero of the film. Glamcabs is the rival firm that shows the ladies getting the upper hand for a change.
